Awareness of raw milk benefits

Got milk?

Max Kane sure does. He's bringing awareness of raw milk to the masses via a cross-country bike ride, dubbed Ride for Raw Dairy, Raw milk and other dairy products that have not been pasteurized.

Part of his trip brought him to Midland [Texas] this week where he stayed at Happy Feet Farm where Michele Barnett said they were shipping in raw milk products from Lubbock for him to consume. Barnett said Kane found her through a Web site that lists farms offering a variety of organic or certified natural produce.

Barnett said she's had the farm for three and a half years and she and her family drink as little processed milk as possible. They hope to use milk from a dairy goat that is about to give birth.

A Viroqua, Wis., resident Kane has been on the road since Dec. 17 starting in Rocky Mountain, Va., in the Appalachian Mountains and working his way west to Malibu, Calif.

Making a documentary as he goes, Kane stopped at Flat Belly Organics in Midland on Tuesday. Annette Presley, registered dietitian, co-author of "The Liberation Diet" and devotee of raw dairy products along with Barnett and Albert Pereira, lactation specialist with Pereira Pastures Dairy in Abernathy were there to greet him.

Next stop is El Paso, but to help him on his way, he laid in some supplies.

Kane's family, including wife Jaclyn, drove him to his starting point in Virginia.

Diagnosed with Crohn's disease -- which can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract -- at age 10, Kane at one point was down to about 100 pounds at 5-foot-10. He began researching alternatives to medication four to five years ago and through some trial and error found raw dairy products helped him regain his health. He now weighs around 200 pounds and has gained muscle weight.

...

After discovering what raw dairy did for him, Kane began eating raw meat.

"I do my best to eat the highest quality food," Kane said. He said pasteurization changes milk a lot and those interested in raw products should be aware of how the animals are treated and what pesticides are used.

Prior to starting the bike trip, Kane didn't have much experience riding distances. For the first 10 days, he said, he had pain in his legs and knees because, he "hadn't really trained for this."

Partial to glass containers, at first Kane was carrying about 130 pounds. Since then, he has shipped the product home and is carrying one to one-and- a-half gallons of milk, along with butter, cheese and other dairy products.

"I've been on road since Dec. 17," Kane said. "The days just kind of pass." He added that he would like to get to Malibu by Feb. 1.

If all goes well and funding is available, his family will pick him up in California. If not, he'll make his way back on a bus.

Kane, who sells raw milk products in Chicago, said he and 10-12 people mapped out the bicycle route using Google maps. He also has a GPS unit to help keep him on track. "But as it turns out, once I got on the actual bike ride ... only 50 percent of the roads I have been on have been what we mapped out. Things come into play that you don't think about. Some of the roads were under construction and some were unridable," he said.

During his road trip, Kane said he's met a lot of interesting people.

"One of the main differences I've noticed is the people's diet and their accent. Coming from state to state, everybody talks a little bit different. Other than that, there's not much difference that I've found. I've met a lot of good people out there, really kind-hearted people, especially these farmers that I've stopped at. They've been nothing but supportive," he said.

People have either offered him a room in their home or offered to pay for his stay at a hotel for the night. He has camped out on the side of the road "here and there" and stayed at the Salvation Army in Abilene.

"This ride has been nothing but an adventure," he said.

Optimal health is obviously the first priority for the good of the individual

[Aajonus] Vonderplanitz' books and the Primal Diet Newsletter are pricey, sensational, and evolutionary. They are a privileged and refreshing change from the empty-headed patter of network TV's medical marionettes and the AMA/Big Pharma-indoctrinated media propaganda ads.
Vonderplanitz' fearless and bewilderingly frank pronouncements are a radical night-and-day departure from the so-called 'conventional wisdom.' The two books and Newsletter and their contents fly in the face of the AMA/Big Pharma's program-for-landfall-profits-at-the- expense-of-the-masses philosophy---for good reason. WWTL and RLWD are virtually sole-source publications predicated on a sound, time-honored, experience-based (100% drug-free) truth. They are shocking because quite probably, many assertions are the opposite of everything that we have been sold by the doctrinaire press. The AMA/Big Pharma loss is your gain.
In my considered opinion, the sum of the facts and opinions presented by Vonderplanitz' pen are absolutely LIGHT YEARS ahead of any other concept of lifesaving-change-for-the- better, optimal-health rationale/Rx. Better yet, the volumes are written in a clear, easy-to-read-and-understand format (for anyone in command of a eighth-grade-or-higher ability).
The basic principles outlined in the two Vonderplanitz masterworks and quarterly Newsletter have been proven successful over the centuries by the following notable entities: Medieval European Kings, their royal court and Knights, Asian Emperors (notably Genghis Kahn and his Mongol hordes who actually conquered ALL the then known land masses and civilizations from north to south, east to west, sea-to-sea), the Vikings, the Arctic Inuits, the Native American plains Indians (Shoshone, Sioux, Apache, etc.), Africa's intrepid tribesmen, the Maasai, Samburu and Zulu warriors as well as dozens of other successful and dominant cultures throughout ancient history to modern times, worldwide.
Can we learn from these preeminently successful cultures, benefiting from their massive wealth of experience? For the sake of the species, our family's genetic heritage, and our survival, I hope so. Otherwise, if our genealogical archives are ravaged by future civil upheaval and/or world wars, we may not even be a blip on the screens of the Twenty-Second Century, A.D.
Optimal health is obviously the first priority for the good of the individual, the family and the species. Have you ever pondered the frightening prospect of what is left WITHOUT good health, e.g. when you have lost your mobility, independence, your dignity, and possibly your consciousness, and are being fed through a gastric tube by a minimum-wage nursing home employee? It behooves each of us to see ourselves from that prospective and in that predicament BEFORE the fact. That said, would it be best to do all that is possible NOW to delay or prevent that possibility, OR would it be better to react to it AFTER IT HAPPENS? Enough said. A word to the wise is sufficient."

Living Disease Free on the Primal Diet

I have never suffered from any life threatening or debilitating diseases but I do have an insatiable urge to live disease free and with optimal health and fitness. [Scott is the muscular contestant in the blue shorts & white waistband - no surprise that he won this race.]
I greedily pursue these interests by way of a proper philosophy on life, an exercise strategy geared towards efficiently promoting my functional ability, and a nutritional protocol that best supports these principles.
This nutritional protocol is The Primal Diet. Whilst following The Primal Diet strictly over the past four years, I have encountered greater progress than at any time previously, culminating in reaching my peak from a performance perspective, and attaining the best condition of my life at age 32.

Healthy and happy life through a proper diet

Dear Mr. Aajonus,
I would like to first thank you for your suffering, tenacity, work, experimentation and love of a good healthy and happy life through a proper diet.
Secondly, I'd like to thank you for my wife's miraculous and speedy recovery from a 15 yr. battle with a debilitating I.B.S. [irritable bowel syndrome] condition. After spending thousands & thousands of dollars on doctors, tests, supplements, gas, time etc., in one day we noticed a
difference on your diet. She was taking a variety of laxatives in the amount of 66 capsules and tablets A DAY just to facilitate a bowel movement.
After faithfully doing your diet she kept backing off the supplements and within a little over a month was completely off them. Our kitchen cabinets were literally full of this stuff and are now empty. She is not totally healed yet as she still struggles at times with dry blockage, but she is 90% betterthanks to you and your research.
I'm totally grateful to you for her health back again. Her skin looks smoother, softer and her eyes brighter.
Thank you Mr. Aajonus, thank you!
Thirdly: after seeing the tremendous results in her in just a couple of weeks, I started to try it [the Primal Diet] too, but only just eating raw meats & fatty avocados, tomatoes, etc. about 3 days a week. I also have been doing the moisturizing drink twice a day now for about 3 months. BOY OH BOY! I had had arthritis hitting my hands and shoulders really bad!
I couldn't bend the thumb on my left hand at all. It was spreading to the rest of my fingers in the same hand & starting in my right hand. Mr. Aajonus, I couldn't even clap my hands without their hurting - or even shake hands. Within a little over a week my thumb started to bend again. Within 3 weeks most of the soreness was gone & within a month & a half, I could bend my
thumb completely without any soreness.
It also left my shoulders too! I used to drink a lot of gelatin & eat a lot of homemade jelly - but it didn't help!
raw butter - 3 tablespoons
2 free range eggs - raw
2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon
1 heaping tablesppon of unheated honey
1 banana for pain
Blend it & voila!
Another note: I had a bad case of "allergic dermatitus eczema" on my hands, arms and very heavily all over my scalp. My easy chair looked like it had just snowed each time I got up, from the dandruff. I feel because of the moisturizing drink and raw foods being the help I needed - it is all but gone - 90+ %.
My calloused skin is as smooth as a baby's in only a couple of months.
Thank you again!
I haven't completely switched over yet - although my wife has. I drink veggie juice now, raw milk, fresh squeezed orange juice an eat raw meats at least 3 days a week. My wife is full time on your diet including lotions and even tooth paste - God, I admire her tenacity and will power.
Well sir, just thought you might like to hear about this. We look forward to the new 'shopping list' and one day to perhaps get to meet the great Mr. Aajonus V...
One last note. I'm a commercial artist of 38 years and need my hands to do my work. I'm 58 years old. My wife is a nationally certified personal trainer of some 12 years and is 44 yrs. old. We love our health & we thank you personally for better health through a better diet - the Primal Diet!
Many thanks & God be with you, Rick & Kelly B.

Dietary Quest for Health...

...Leads to the Primal Diet:
By age twenty-four, I had developed a painful hemorrhagic colon fissure requiring surgery. By age thirty, I had developed a bleeding duodenal ulcer that was 'treated' for three years. Both conditions were ultimately resolved by dietary means. During my fifty+ year quest to de-mystify and unravel the elusive secrets of optimal health, I attended many dozens of health
lectures/seminars. Each of them gave clues, but never the complete answer. I was inspired by, but still unsatisfied with health lectures, so for reference, I began to purchase, read, and slowly build a small library of seventy-five+ books. All were alleged to improve one's health. Some of them were in fact so far off-course that I later threw them away. To further expand my knowledge base on health and other important protocols, while holding a full-time job
with Southern Company Services, Inc., I attended UAB [University of Alabama at Birmingham] Regional Technical Institute night classes. In the final phases, I did all-night hospital rotations before working a full eight hour shift the same day, finally graduating as a state-licensed EMT [emergency medical technician] paramedic in 1976. Afterwards, I worked and continued my training at my own expense, alongside City of Birmingham's Fire Department Rescue
Services 'FireMedics,' maintaining my license for approximately 11 years. Why do I bore you with the above? Easy:
1) to establish some semblance of credibility, and
2) so that you won't waste your precious time and energy following the same meandering paths that I did in your mission to secure information necessary to provide for your own OPTIMAL health. Optimal health CANNOT come from potentially LETHAL drugs that can kill in all but the tiniest of dosages. Medications do not cure; they merely MASK the symptom(s), often
requiring progressively ever-larger dosages with their concomitant side effects and complications. Over time, I reluctantly came to the conclusion that what we've been taught about health is not always true, but instead is often predicated on centuries-old, false, even dangerous, postulations and/or on multitudinous conflicts of interest(s). All too often, such 'postulations' can be traced to profit motives. Clearly, there is certainly nothing wrong
with making a profit, so long it doesn't cost you your health, or even your LIFE in the 'bargain.' In an article appearing in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine, it was actually divulged that iatrogenic medicine (mistakes made by doctors and medical personnel in hospital environments) is responsible for more mortalities than by any other means! In the considered
opinion of an ever-expanding number of health researchers and practitioners, THAT is exactly what established, pharmaceutically-inspired, 'orthodox medicine' does. I now believe that orthodox medicine was largely responsible for the premature demise of one of our greatest American WWII Air Force heroes, Henry E."Red" Erwin, CMH [Congressional Medal of Honor]. Like ninety-nine percent of all physicians, your own MD is probably well-meaning and really wants you to get well, BUT he is far too busy to pursue alternative or complimentary medicine. He HAS to 'practice' medicine according to strict AMA protocols or risk censure and/or loss of his license to 'practice' medicine. Does your physician know who Professor Antoinne Bechamp (a
contemporary of Louis Pasteur), Royal Raymond Rife or Gaston Naessens, MD were/are? Highly unlikely. Key them in to your favorite search engine. These were/are men of vast accomplishments and genius who were unheralded GIANTS of their chosen professions. However, because they did not march in lock step with the prevailing dictums of their peers' professional societies, they were ignored, suppressed or even persecuted. Their so-called 'controversial' ideas, though now have been validated by time (my opinion), are still ignored by our pharmaceutically-driven 'orthodox' medical establishment today. It was not
until four years ago when I discovered two (2) pivotal, life-changing books,
i.e. We Want To Live and The Recipe For Living Without Disease by Aajonus Vonderplanitz, Ph.D., did I finally discover the truth, the INSIDE story about optimal health. My health
has improved ever since. These two books belong in every home, to be read, and re-read, until their principles literally become instinctive. In summary, don't be bamboozled by the disengenuous 'smoke-and-mirrors' propaganda of the pharmaceutically-inspired medical establishment. Instead, please take the time to think for yourself. Hippocrates, called the father of medicine, is quoted as saying "Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food". [Doctors are sworn in saying this as part of the Hippocratic oath. I asked one once and she said yes, she was sworn in saying that but food was more nutritious in Hippocrites' day. the editor]
Anthelme Brillat-Savarin wrote, in his major work Phyusiologie du Gout, ou Meditations de Gastronomie Transcendante: "Tell me what you eat and I will tell you what you are." Ludwig Andreas Feuerbach wrote "man is what he eats" which got switched around in popular vernacular to "You ARE what you eat." Food IS your best medicine. I don't know who said that first but I am saying it now. There is only one disease: MALNUTRITION. Investigate the two most important health-conserving textbooks of the 21st century.
