The Primal Diet - Before and After Eight Months

I am interested in signing up for Aajonus's [Primal Diet] newsletter and getting as much information as I can possibly get concerning the Primal Diet.

I started the Primal Diet back in Jan 2013. While doing research on the internet I came across an interview Aajonus had done online. His ideas made sense to me so I bought both of his books and started the diet.

Prior to starting the Primal Diet I was in very bad shape. I had been diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, and various auto immune disease. The diagnosis were from both mainstream and alternative practitioners.

After using Aajonus's protocol for 8 months as instructed in "The Recipe for Living without Disease" my life has changed dramatically.

Before the Primal Diet I was so broken down by sickness that I could not work or hardly take care of myself at all. I had been on a merry-go-round of over 8 medications and felt like I was 100 years old and I'm only 42.

After only three months on the Primal Diet my health started to rapidly improve and I was able to get off all the medications. It was crazy how fast things started turning around for me. You have to understand that I thought I was going to just waste away and die.

I am very excited because I am getting stronger every day on the Primal Diet. However I feel devastated having found out about Aajonus's death. This man has probably saved my life and he never even knew who I was and I never got to meet him. I had made the decision that I would consult Aajonus via phone or email as soon as I could and now I will never get the chance. So I am hoping you can help me with some direction.

Is the newsletter still going to be available? Where can I find additional information on Aajonus's primal diet? As i stated I have the two books and am using the diet with incredible results however I feel that I have just scratched the surface of Aajonus's information and how it can pertain to my health. If you could please help me with some direction on where to get more information on the primal diet that would great. Thanks.

Dear  ...,
I am very glad to hear of your major benefits on the Primal Diet created by Aajonus.

Many of us feel the same way about missing Aajonus.  There are some memorials occurring in various parts of the country this week and next week.

In answer to your question, yes you may sign up as a subscriber on the site.  All the Primal Diet Newsletters have been archived and are available in the password protected part of the site.  There is a project just beginning now to include many 'question and answer' sessions where Aajonus gives very vital information.  These are being assembled and will be in audio as well transcript format.  There are other such actions to collect up other information as well for subscribers.   This service definitely will continue as it so important to so many people.

Aajonus, what a caring, deep and thoughtful person

1.      The following was submitted by someone from viewing the WeWant2Live.com site and volunteering a tribute and life story, from her heart.

"My health challenge was not overtly obvious. I had become a vegetarian when I was 14 and had continued working at making changes as I learned what was good for me and what was not. When I reached my mid 30’s I could tell something was not right so decided to stay open to learning if I ran across something or someone I sensed might be able to help me. That happened at 45, 11 years ago now when  I met a follower of the Primal Diet who I went to for getting help with my torn ACL [anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the four major ligaments of the human knee.]. I had a sense he knew more than what he was telling me so I let him know that I was open to more information. One of his recommendations was the book We Want to Live. This began a 2 year study and experimenting process. I felt Aajonus was way out there but [the person I was consulting regarding the torn ligament] was following what this book recommended so I dabbled with what I dared.

I started with the raw milk and it did not take much and could tell I felt just a little better and I did not get all full of pasty mucus which is why I initially gave up milk years prior. I had periodic bladder infections so when that came up for me I followed what Aajonus said to do and the butter/honey mixture was so soothing. My remedy in the past was to stop eating except for oranges and this worked but I would get weak, adding the butter/honey mixture gave me energy and it was very soothing. I also did the beet juice every 4 days and I have not had bladder infections for years now J When I finally got the courage to try the raw meat it was very small amounts because of the psychological piece of years of programming of how bad meat (cooked) was for a human being. When I got to the place I could have a meal of meat I felt so amazingly good, but then in 30 minutes I would be ravenous. I do not have that now but I did the first 6-12 months of starting the meat meals. It had been so frustrating for me for years that shouldn’t I feel better, stronger and more vital after I ate, often I felt better not eating, but that of course can only last so long. I had even put up a prayer into the heavens several months prior telling God if I knew what to eat so I could feel good I would. After discovering this experience in eating the raw meat, I responded to God in frustration, “well this is not what I had in mind”. It has its challenges socially but I love how it makes me feel and this is what I live with 24/7 so I have found ways to stay on the diet whether traveling or eating out and I have benefited so much.

In 2004 I found a nutritionist who was familiar with the vegan diet I was on and also The Primal Diet. She discovered that I was quite anemic, even the iron stores in my liver where bottomed out. This is when I started the raw meat that gradually changed my condition and now am nice and pink. The nutritionist  main concern about my eating the raw meat was the risk of getting parasites….I decided to find a source of quality meat and take what then was a risk. Now of course I realize that parasites are our friends when eating this way. J

Starting the high meat and getting plenty of raw meat into  me to deal with my emotional and gut challenges was the biggest leap but one of the most rewarding. I am so much calmer and have so much more internal peace now. Each year that passes I my thinking ability gets more clear, easier and I am able to concentrate so much better. I had stretches that the thinking became more difficult, but gradually that would pass.

Presently I  am learning how to monitor what I eat so I do not detox to fast and get a tummy ache with a cloudy head. Using the cheese often throughout the day and keeping my raw fat intake up, especially the raw butter up and going easy on the fruit….all the things Aajonus says has been the trick.

It has been a patient process learning and integrating the truths that Aajouns has discovered in the powers of healing raw foods but with huge benefits. I am so going to miss his newsletter and especially not seeing him each year to learn what changes he could see in my eyes. I hope he taught someone how to do the iridology that he did. I was hoping someday to study under him to learn this. I will continue to read his material and practice what he has taught and work at continued learning. Health is a priceless gift!!! I will also continue to share these principles with people and help to empower those who too long for vitality and health.

When I was 14 I realized how important our bodies are in affecting our experience here on planet earth and from my reading of the Bible I was motivated to want to learn how to eat for strength. This began my journey seeking for ways of treating my body that helped me feel as strong and good as possible. I started as a vegetarian and followed this way of eating until my mid 40’s when I was told of the book We Want to Live. I spent 2 years reading this and other material, dabbling with what Aajonus recommended before I wanted to meet him and go to one of his workshops. When I read his book I felt he was emotionally out of balance, but when I met I was pleasantly surprised what a caring, deep and thoughtful person he was. I made the decision to try and go fully on the Primal Diet after 3 years of edging my way in that direction.  I hope I can be ½ the human that Aajonus was . I admire his values and clarity to integrate those values into his life to bless as many people as want the blessing. He was like a modern day Thomas Jefferson for me, for us, constantly learning and working to get and keep our food freedom. Educating the public on what is healthy food, to creating markets for farmers so they would be motivated to grow good quality foods. He was so through in his methods, he continues to amaze me.

I learned I could trust him, because if there were things he was not sure of he would tell me so. If there were things he was sure of, he would also tell me so. This has given me courage to press on to follow what he was recommending as I listened to my body. More than anyone or any diet I have been on The Primal Diet is all about eating for strength. What doctor could one go to who can actually prescribe what they themselves have experienced and found health from.

I so hope those of us who have been blessed by what Aajouns learned and taught us can pull together and carry the torch of the primitive life giving principles. Even my kitties  are daily blessed by what I learned from Aajonus J

My vision of Aajouns has often been and now will be is of him swimming in the ocean out in Tahiti during the years he felt  so good ….. swimming with endless energy, free in the peace of the natural world he loved so much!

Hope this is helpful Jim….it is the least I can do!!!

Sending out Peace and comfort to us all in this huge loss!!!

Aajonus's Life Mission

“To help reverse disease and facilitate healthier lives and a more peaceful world for those interested.”

When I approached Aajonus in 2004 with my plan for me to set up the WeWant2Live.com site, I asked him his Mission.  He gave me the one sentence you see above.

Now in 2013 I look at that one sentence statement.  He DID live by this statement.  He also gave anyone who is not interested the immediate right to exit from the page or discussion, with no blame or shame.
On these pages I will occasionally put up some feedback from “those interested”.  If someone not interested comes along, they are invited to exit from this page right away.

There is no harm and no controversy in this statement as far as I can see and as far as any of the thousands of people whose lives he did improve.    Read on if you like, at http://www.wewant2live.com/

Also, see the tribute from one person who is now of great service to the raw foods community, having been resurrected from serious 'incurable' diseases which kept her bed-ridden much of the time:

Aajonus was a nutritionist who developed the Primal Diet, the very diet which saved Renée Ainlay's life (founder of Original Living Coconut) You can read Renee's journey here: http://www.originallivingcoconut.com/ReneesStory.aspx  Aajonus was also an activist for the non-profit organization, Right to Choose Healthy Food. He was the author of two books: We Want to Live & The Recipe for Living Without Disease. Aajonus traveled around the world, sharing his wealth of knowledge, helping people find vibrant health & come out of the grips of disease. Tragically, Aajonus fell from his second story balcony at his home in Thailand when it gave way. He suffered a broken spine & internal bleeding. He was taken to the hospital where he passed.

A Word From Renée, Founder of OLC
I am writing this with a very heavy heart. My dear friend and teacher Aajonus Vonderplanitz just recently passed away. He was on his 2nd floor balcony at his home in Thiland when it gave way. He suffered a broken back and internal bleeding and passed at the hospital.
As many of you know my story, I have been following Aajonus's Primal Diet for 7 1/2 years. Not only have I regained my health, but Aajonus has inspired me and changed the direction of my life. I will forever be indebted to him and I am truly blessed to have known him. Not only has he helped me but he has helped others in my family (my husband, my kids & their families & my brothers).
A pioneer of the raw food movement, Aajonus has paved the way for many. He first introduced the Primal Diet through his books, We Want to Live and A Recipe for Living Without Disease. His teachings didn't stop there, he made DVDs and wrote newsletters, gave lectures, appeared on TV talk shows, radio shows etc. He has accompished so much I cant even begin to name them all.  He was an activist for the raw milk movement. He spearheaded the abolition of California's ban of raw milk sales in stores. He gave countless hours of his time to help defend farmers against raw milk lawsuits. He has helped thousands of people regain their health over the many years.
...
I will miss you my dear friend and teacher. I will miss talking to you and miss your heart hugs. You were a very special treasure to many. Along with everyone else I will do my best to carry on and share what I have learned on my jorney for health. Rest in peace my friend. I pray blessings, peace and comfort for your family and friends. -Reneè, Founder of Original Living Coconut

The Rawesome Trial was not a jury trial.  It is over; it has been settled.
As there have been so many inquiries about it, and the people involved,  and the mystery surrounding it, Aajonus's description will be available for public viewing at the following link through the first week of August:

http://www.wewant2live.com/2013/07/26/rawesome-trial-outcome-summarized-aajonus/ .

After that, it will be archived on the http://www.wewant2live.com site.

Diet or Exercise - Which is More Important to Health?

Aajonus - the creator of the Primal Diet and author of We Want To Live: the Primal Diet and The Recipe for Living Without Disease - has continued his research.  He communicates updated information in his series of archived Primal Diet Newsletters.  In one such newsletter, he makes clear for me that for some people exercise is of paramount importance (along with a healthy diet) and for others it is not so important.  How does he tell the difference?

Some of the questions that are answered in the password protected part of the www.WeWant2Live.com site
were published a week ago here:
http://www.wewant2live.blogspot.com/2013/05/where-do-i-get-real-information-about.html .

Other topics and questions that have been answered for subscribers in the first two years of Primal Diet newsletters can be see here: http://www.wewant2live.com/2013/06/07/primal-diet-newsletter-archives-topics-questions-answered-years/ .  The links to the actual newsletters are available to those who have subscribed to view Aajonus's newsletters, articles, interviews and more.

To me, it is a relief to have access to a living author who is on the right track of research (in my opinion).  He keeps information available to those who reach for it.    Check it out for yourself!  His answer regarding who requires at least a certain amount of exercise each day and who does not is an important piece of data for me.   You will have your own questions of course.

Aajonus Vonderplanitz is a cancer survivor...

Aajonus Vonderplanitz is a cancer survivor and no stranger to fear, excruciating pain and adversity. He has has outlived his oncologically-based multiple cancer death sentence by 45 years. This was NO ACCIDENT.

Sheer, cancer-generated terror motivated Dr. Vonderplanitz to become an insatiable researcher, biochemist, author and lecturer. He is the irrepressible force behind the new worldwide "Back-To-The Future" nutritional paradigm. Vonderplanitz' monumental work honors and underscores the words of Hippocrates (the Great White Father of modern medicine), whose students were admonished, "First DO NO HARM..."  as well as "...Let your FOOD BE YOUR MEDICINE, AND YOUR MEDICINE BE YOUR FOOD".

The Primal Diet truth has been the instrumental driving force in 'pulling back the curtain' on the institutionalized, cradle-to-the-grave, smoke-and-mirrors misinformation MASQUERADE that has dominated our educational texts and institutions for most of the past one-and-one-half centuries.

As a result of the
Primal Diet's whistle-blower EXPOSE', fastidious people the civilized world over are finally abandoning socially- ingrained, disease producing habits and ill-advised concepts forever, most of whom are becoming more healthy and disease-free than at any time in their adult lives.

Where do I get real information about what affects my health?

Where do I get answers to questions like these:

How do I find how much arsenic is in the brands of chicken I eat?
Why can't I get raw soy at my health food store?
Is there a poison in my soft drink that the FDA has labeled as a carcinogen?
What are common misconceptions of the role of a virus?
Will a raw food diet cause diarrhea?
Is tooth decay less common among people on a raw food diet?
Is our life span increasing rapidly through medicine?
Is Monsanto an ally in creating better health?
Why the debate about whether vaccines are harmful or beneficial?
What does mercury poisoning have to do with diet?
Is Raw Chocolate a health food?
What are some Raw Chocolate recipes that are good for me?

These are just some of the subjects addressed in the first two Primal Diet newsletters viewable in the Primal Diet newsletter archives at www.WeWant2Live.com.

The Raw Primal Diet is Not the Paleo Diet...

Thanks again to Aajonus for wise, health-promoting insights! I owe him full recovery from lifelong eczema.

Best,
Bonny S.
http://www.onwingsofcare.org/

[The following message is from Bonny regarding a video'd interview TEDxOU called Debunking the paleo diet, in which Christina Warinner is interviewed]

Her premises do not coincide with those of Aajonus who advocates a raw Primal Diet (R) -- but it may describe the diets she is refuting, I don't know for I don't know about those diets.

The [raw Primal Diet of Aajonus Vonderplanitz] certainly does not eschew green vegetables or fruits; in fact, it considers them vital, and advocates juicing of vegetables, as their mineral and other content is sooo good for us.

She [Ms. Warinner] also misses the very very important point that it is RAW protein that is advocated, the raw feature is critical. (Again, I refer to Aajonus's raw Primal Diet, not to these diets that she is refuting.)  This applies to both meat and dairy/eggs.

The raw Primal Diet also emphasizes all kinds of meats and all organs, not just beef muscle (which she calls the "meat myth.)

Teeth are part of the argument. Stomach acid and intestine length is also important.

I'll listen to this when I can hear the whole thing, but I caught these features in the first few minutes.

There is no question in my mind, looking at this speaker, that she eats much cooked food, including grains.

Thanks for sharing this!
Bonny S.

Rave Result from Aajonus's Two Books and Consult

I received a call today and took notes.  This lady has read Aajonus's two books We Want To Live: the Primal Diet and The Recipe for Living Without Disease and has recently consulted with Aajonus by phone.  She is continuing to learn by viewing Aajonus's Primal Diet Workshop DVD set.

"I am 100% better and its only been a month and a week!
"I am absorbing food from everything I eat...
"I had spent 40 years trying everything.
"I have never slept this profoundly since I was a baby... deep sleep!  I have had insomnia for years.
"I feel calmer and a lot better.
"He [Aajonus] is a genius!  There is nobody on this whole planet that would get what he got.
"I feel like a teeny bopper.  I am turning 70 years old tomorrow."

Contributed by Marjory Wildcraft who has brought up her very healthy family on raw food, home grown.
See  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uaHiY9jqrw&feature=player_embedded about learning how your body works with raw food and see http://www.WeWant2Live.com to obtain Aajonus's full works, regimens and remedies.  See http://www.growyourowngroceries.com to see Marjory's methods for growing your own food.

Hi Friend,

[Anyone familiar with Marjory knows that] I claim 95% of the food sold in grocery stores is toxic to the human body. And I am not backing down on that. It is a huge part of why I am telling you to grow your own!

Yes, the pesticides and herbicides are terrible. But the biggest concern I have is with GMO's (genetically modified organisms). The research proving the dangers of GMOs keeps pouring in despite the massive attempts to cover it up. The rest of the world is paying attention - over 60 countries have banned GMO food from being grown or imported. But here is the US big agri-business has a death grip on the US Gov't. I mean isn't it the job of the FDA and the USDA to make sure the food supply is safe?

75% of the products sold in grocery stores have some form of corn in them, and almost all the corn grown in the US is GMO corn. And then there is GMO soybeans, and even GMO wheat. Since these ingredients are in almost everything, it is difficult to buy something in the grocery store that is non-GMO.

This election cycle there is a David vs. Goliath food fight going on. It is based in California, but if passed will affect everyone in the US. Proposition 37 would require that food products sold in California that contained GMO's would say so on the label.

I know that California has a bad rep for being a 'nanny state' and they certainly do come up with some crazy ideas over there sometimes. But in this case I agree; you should know what is in the food you are buying. The label should tell you if there are GMO's inside.

I've been looking for a good, concise, well crafted source of information on the whole GMO issue. Dan, a regular subscriber, sent me over this YouTube link which is an excellent video exposing the problems with GMO's and why there is such pressure to keep you from knowing about this.

Watch this video - especially

- If you've been trying to lose weight and can't
- If you are having problems with your organs malfunctioning, diseased, or cancerous (your heart, kidneys, liver, colon, stomach, etc.)
- If you are having infertility problems, or if you want to have grandchildren, then pay special attention to the very end of the video.
http://www.growyourowngroceries.com/foodfight

If you are in California, why not mess with the system a little bit and vote "Yes" on prop 37? But don't wait for laws or Gov't toget you healthy food - start growing your own.

Here is that link again. The scope of the dangers of GMO foods is something you should know about. Click here -

Important -Proposition 37 - Deception and Lies

Contributed by Feline Butcher

Hi Everyone,
It is time for a rebuttal and please feel free to share this info!
I know we have been really harping on Prop 37, but I really appreciate your support and understanding about how vitally important this initiative is. Monsanto and DuPont are pouring millions into counter ads and promotion in these vital few days before the elections to intentionally confuse and deceive voters.
I know that all of you reading this are firmly behind our efforts and are prepared to protect your right to know what ingredients are in the food you and your family eat, but we need your help and support to reach out to those other people you know who may be on the fence on this issue. Because there has been so much counter propaganda thrown about, it can be difficult to have a reasonable and logical discussion with people who are basing their thinking on false information and skewed logic. That is why I want to provide you with some information that highlights many of the arguments that the GMO industry is promoting and our specific responses so that you can understand the issue well enough to spread the message confidently.
Let's get right to it.
Increased Food Prices and Raised Taxes.
Many ads and corporate mouth-pieces are claiming that because Prop 37 will add new, and potentially burdensome regulations to an already complex industry, that these regulations will have unintended consequences that will cause massive food price increases. Some of the factors they list include: increased food production costs, the inability to import many cheap sources of food from out of state, increased legal costs arising from frivolous lawsuits, etc.
These types of statements are part of a marketing technique known as FUD, which is an acronym that stands for Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. If you want to persuade somebody not to do something, you must create these emotions. The way to defeat FUD, is to employ the truth. In regards to increased food prices, the truth is that food prices are not going to increase as a result of this measure. They may increase due to increased fuel costs, droughts in the mid-west, and other phenomenon, but the costs associated with food retailers verifying with their suppliers whether their ingredients contain GMO sources or not, and altering their packaging accordingly will not affect food prices. The real fear with this measure is being felt by food producers because their biggest concern is that if customers see a package that has "contains GMO ingredients" printed on it, they might not choose their product. This would cost THEM money, but not you.
Affecting Farmers and Cost Jobs
Opponents claim that this proposition would mean that farmers in California would be at a disadvantage with farmers in other states because they would not be able to sell competitive goods and that this would put farmers and agricultural workers out of business. The truth is that nothing in this proposition prohibits a farmer from producing or selling GMO crops. It does not prohibit them from exporting them out of the state or out of the country. In fact it doesn't prevent farmers from doing anything that they already do. It only requires that RETAILERS and PACKAGED FOODS label their products which contain GMO ingredients, or have been grown from GMO seed. This idea that the entire agricultural economy of California is going to collapse from a LABELING LAW is plain falsehood.

Frivolous Lawsuits
Opponents claim that there is a provision in Prop 37 that will allow people to bring frivolous lawsuits against farmers and food producers by making false claims that their products contain GMO. That such lawsuits would be costly and that these costs would be passed onto the consumers. Under current labeling laws, if a food producer omits an ingredient on their label, and it happens to be something that someone is allergic to, they could file a lawsuit for damages to their health. There are both civil and criminal penalties for misbranding, false advertisement, etc. Prop 37 simply creates a new category of adulterant, GMO. As with any new law, there must be consequences for violation. They must not be too lenient, but not overbearing either. They must fit the crime committed. Private individuals are the most effective community watchdogs in existence, and unless they can be empowered to ensure that companies stay within the bounds of the law, compliance to the provisions of Prop 37 will not occur. If a factory contaminates the groundwater supply of a community, the factory's owner should be held accountable, if the community develops health problems. If a food producer attempts to hide the fact that they use GMO ingredients and it causes health problems for their consumers, they also must be held accountable. This is part of common law and common sense, if you hurt an innocent person, amends must be made, and justice must be served.
Likewise, these companies also have ways that they can correct themselves if a mistake has been made. Prop 37 allows companies a grace period to correct the label, to obtain a sworn statement from their suppliers that they do not use GMO ingredients, etc. Then the false accuser will have no grounds for a case. The burden of proof of wrongdoing rests heavily on the accuser. If they cannot provide hard evidence like laboratory analysis results, then their case will not proceed very far. Don't forget that this law will not go into affect until 2014 and that producers have a year to figure out how to become compliant with the law and get their legal affairs in order.
Arbitrary Exemptions
Of all the arguments put forth by the opposition, this area is the one in which the most ridicule and deception occur. One of the most promoted anti-Prop 37 ads being promoted is the one where Dr. Herny Miller, a former FDA employee, gives examples of "arbitrary exemptions" in Prop 37 and summarizes that this new labeling law "makes no sense". The ad uses a simple cartoon to compare products that are required to be labeled if they contain GMO ingredients and those that are not. Let's go over these examples and see if they truly are nonsensical or if this is just an attempt to confuse and mislead the public. The first example is soy milk vs cow's milk. Soy milk must be labeled, cow's milk doesn't. Why?
First of all, the text of Prop 37 makes no specific reference to milk products. Soy is a SEED crop. GMO soy beans are among the most common GMO crop on the planet. Cow's milk comes from a COW. The livestock industry has done some pretty terrible things to cows, but they have yet to create a "GMO" cow. As such, if Soy Milk comes from GMO Soy it must be labeled.
Juice vs Alcohol
This one may at first seem bizarre, but then you should probably realize that people don't drink alcoholic beverages for the health benefits. Prop 37 does allow an exemption for alcoholic beverages. My theory is that this was somewhat political. You are already going to try and pass a measure that will infuriate one of the largest and richest multinational corporations in the world, do you really want to make an enemy of the Beer and Wine industry as well? Probably not.
Bread vs Cheese
This is effectively the same scenario as soy vs cow milk. Bread is made from grains, which are seed crops which can be GMO. Cheese is from dairy which is NOT GMO. This is blatant deception intended to confuse voters. A clear example of Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.
Dog food vs Meat consumption by humans
This may also seem bizarre at first glance. Prop 37 makes no specific reference to animal versus human food. The No on Prop 37 ad shows a dog food can, and a T-bone steak. This is the major deception. Any dog owner who reads the ingredient labels on their dog food packages will know that most dog foods contain GRAINS, including but not limited to soy, corn, wheat, barley, and rice. The No on Prop 37 ad has Dr. Miller saying "why meat in dog food should be covered, but meat for human consumption is not, makes no sense..." This is a very clever lie. MEAT is not covered at all under Prop 37. There is no such thing as GMO meat. Does not exist. The GRAINS in dog food, however, are covered and because so many animal food products do contain GMO ingredients means that health conscious pet owners will be able to know which dog food brands use GMO ingredients.
This ad, specifically, is a very clear example of the FUD campaign that the wealthy corporate interests are running on the voters of California. They are using deceptive language and relying upon voter's ignorance of the topic in order to generate fear, uncertainty, and doubt in order to remain hidden behind this loophole that allows them to use potentially toxic ingredients in their foods without our knowledge or consent.
We have the Right to Know, and it is time that we exercised that right by voting Yes on Prop 37.

The Missing Piece of the Rawesome Puzzle

Rawesome selling commercial eggs and chickens meant more to Aajonus than it would to a casual observer.
Why would he act so strongly upon private investigator and other confirming reports of commercial eggs and chicken sales?

Chemicals in Food Purchases in any Market

How food can be altered from the original:

Aajonus describes a chemical danger and how to handle it.  This question and answer has been excerpted from and is typical of information in a Primal Diet newsletter where Aajonus sometimes answers subscriber questions. (click here for more info).

Patty: Hi Aajonus. The fresh fish in my local supermarket has been looking very shiny lately – like plastic. I called the buyer and during the course of our conversation, he told me filleted fish was run through a Chlorine Bath to kill bacteria. I was a little stunned and questioned him further. He told me as far as he knows ALL fish that is filleted is run through this chlorine bath; he saw the process.
Whole Foods told [a friend] recently they are spraying their fresh fish in the case with ionized water to keep it fresh looking. Neither of us knew what ionized water would do to the fish. [Another friend] said she was told to wash oysters because they are being irradiated. What is your safest recommendation of fish? Or do you, or has anyone found a GOOD MAIL ORDER FISH SOURCE ? I am going to try to research that soon.

Adulterations to our food increase daily.

Hi, Patty.  Adulterations to our food increase daily. That is why I stress that people have to invest in and own farms, period. There is no escaping the onslaught of chemicals in food purchased at any market, including Whole Foods because they embrace toxic genetically modified foods and carry very few organic products.
If you rinse meats with water rather than scrape them, you would probably wash the chemicals deeper into meats. Therefore, I suggest scraping meats. As soon as I arrive home from markets in industrial cultures, I scrape all surfaces of meat (red, fish, seafood, pork, etc.) no matter what kind. From a 1 lb. slice of meat, I remove up to 3 T. of meat by scraping it with a sharp flat-bladed non-serrated knife. Food-irradiating machines are very expensive and hazardous because they handle radioactive waste material. Only major food-manufacturing plants can afford it. Therefore, I assume that only the major oyster-producing processors would be able to irradiate oysters, such as canned and processed oysters, not in-shell oysters. Only buy in-shell oysters. However, with Fukushima disaster, I would check oysters monthly for radioactive material with radiation Geiger counters.
Ionized water neutralizes much proton-activity that helps bacteria digest food. Therefore, fish sprayed with ionized water will not predigest when exposed to oxygen. When you consume fish that has been sprayed, the ionized water will interfere with your intestinal bacteria’s ability to digest. So, scrape the surface of all fish, as I do as soon as I arrive home.
