Cancer answer to person new to Primal Diet

A gentleman in the Netherlands wrote to Aajonus:
"I've recently bought your latest book and I am pretty happy with that investment.
I've been researching diets for many years now and of course a lot of contradicting facts will emerge then, usually I can distill the truth by myself but this time I was hoping you could perhaps elaborate on one of those widespread contradictions. Namely the famous "Gerson diet/therapy". I was hoping you could elaborate on that subject a little and free me of my confusion.. Or why they might both be successful? ... I hope this won't just clear up my confusion but can help everyone else in need who has concern about this.
Thank you very much for your work and time, all the best, P.C.
"

In my book The Recipe For Living Without Disease, I discuss therapies and their effectiveness, how to distinguish between independent disease-reversals attributed to therapies rather than cyclic phase of the body and therapies that truly help bodies reverse disease.
healthfully,
aajonus

As I was not sure how rapidly Aajonus would be able to respond, I asked my wife Barbara if she had anything to say to this gentleman. Here is what she said:
As fate would have it, I myself am a cancer patient (diagnosed over three years ago with advanced spinal cancer after MRI), and so I have done much research on different alternative cancer therapies, including having read the whole Max Gerson book on the subject. That is no small feat for a layman like myself to read the erudite writings of a German scientist.

It is true that most alternative therapies have their record of successes. I myself chose the Primal Diet. I saw Aajonus Vonderplanitz, who gave me a tailored diet that is based on the basic Primal Diet, which is the subject of both his books: We Want To Live, and The Recipe For Living Without Disease.

To say that I am a nutritional miracle of the Primal Diet, would be an understatement. Dr. Vonderplanitz did also recommend some additional herbs etc., since my type of cancer is very aggressive, and is considered fatal by the medical community. Especially since the cancer was everywhere on the spine and was very far-gone by the time I started the Primal Diet. (I was told by my oncologist that there is no cure for this, and chemo wouldn't cure me, but just "manage my symptoms" to which I replied, 'no thanks'. So I have had no medical therapy at all, not even a biopsy.)

It is the case that Gerson did recommend the juice of raw liver in addition to his mostly fruits/veggies/grains diet, though I believe that he withdrew that recommendation, after discovering the toxic condition of the livers of most animals. He also recommended a Lugol solution, which if memory serves me, is either iron or iodine.

For me, having raw meats, fish and chicken (and oysters and scallops) and also raw liver, does supply me with a good quantity of the vitamins, minerals and enzymes available with these meats. In addition, I find the raw milk and other raw fats to be very nourishing and calming.

Please note that I am not a nutritionist, and so I can only relay my own experiences. I am not qualified to give any other information or advice of any kind. So I hope that answers at least some of your questions. For other questions, please see the two books of Dr. Vonderplanitz, and look in the index for his ideas about cancer, and how to handle that disease.

Sincerely, Barbara Ellingson

Note from webmaster: Aajonus' book We Want To Live: the Primal Diet contains several pages about cancer.

Pro bodybuilder credits the raw food diet...

Randy Roach has long been a proponent of the Primal Diet (click here for more info). He is the author of the only definitive encyclopedic history of bodybuilding in Volume I & Volume II of Muscle, Smoke & Mirrors - Bodybuilding... (look at his site if you like).
The Pro Bodybuilder Joshua Trentine has recently trained with Randy and proclaims the benefits of the raw food diet in this spectacular radio interview with Carl Lenore on SuperHuman Radio. I give you the link FYI to see this aspect of the gains available on the Primal Diet. I invite comments.

Sources of good raw food: organic vegetables for less

On the www.WeWant2Live.com site, there is a page about the global search for good food. View it here. Finding good food is not easy in many parts of the world. Based on this, I did a bit of research and found a surprising source of organic vegetables for less.
How do I afford organic vegetables? Click here at www.organicfoodforless.info for the answer. I am all for the raw food diet - I LOVE it -
however I have to find ways to cut my expenses. I don't want to cut out organic vegetables because first of all I can taste the difference BIG-TIME and secondly I have been warned about what pesticides, insecticides and herbicides do to my health when I ingest them with my food.

I have also been warned about the looming threat of genetically modified food because I live in the USA where agro-business has a giant foothold. A company starting with M and ending with o (3 syllables) is a whole other subject messing with our future; their reach is global, affecting food all over the planet except in rare places where this gets exposed and defeated at least temporarily (click here to see a good example).

Why am I ranting unless I can do something about it? Answer: I CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT and SO CAN YOU! Aajonus has encouraged us all to get a farm. I have found a giant step towards this at very low cost to get
started. I am getting started to learn how to grow an organic vegetable garden and I invite you to do so as well. We can blog about it once we get it going but for now listen to what Jonathan has to say, view his guaranty and give it a shot. The cost is SO minimal compared to what this can do for you.

The Primal Diet by Aajonus Vonderplanitz is on Facebook

A person on the Primal Diet - Pietro is his name - has created an entry on 'Facebook' which I just discovered today. You may visit it at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2300504520&ref=ts and you may send friends there. Right at this moment Aajonus is recuperating (from what you may ask - subscribers on the www.WeWant2Live.com site know the full story - subscribe here) a bit in Asia and also making arrangements to one day have a spa/clinic there. When his 2010 itinerary has been more fully finalized, you will be able to see it both on Facebook and on the www.WeWant2Live.com site.
Pietro is also the person who placed Aajonus in Wikipedia. See his entry at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aajonus_Vonderplanitz
Any of you who would like to thank Pietro for his excellent work may comment below.

Anti-aging tips from a Primal Diet veteran

I have been on the Primal Diet for 15 years. I think I am the third or fourth longest person behind Aajonus. I am in my early 70s. I look like I am in my late 40s; very few wrinkles, soft skin.
Each year I see Aajonus, and detoxify about 3%. About half of my body is now detoxed. While I still have a long way to go, I see the clearing of my organs and systems each year. It is uplifting. I am a big time cocunut cream manufacturer and eater. I juice 30 cocunuts a month into coconut cream. See Aajonus' book [The Recipe for Living Without Disease, click here] for a 'how to'. I drink my shake about 5 days a week, 3 tablespoons of coconut cream, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries mixed with 2 fertile raw eggs, some raw butter and raw cream at times.
I have recently experimented with raw hemp seeds. They are raw, not steamed, and seem to act like silium seeds to clean the colon. Aajonus thinks seeds are bad, but for me the seeds help my elimination. It is an experiment. I'll probably stop it, but I"m sending Aajonus a packet of the seeds.
I am in the gym 5 days a week. While Aajonus does not exercise, I think the stronger we are the older we get, the more important it is to stay strong. People get old because they get weak. Arobics are one minute very fast exercise (maybe a stationary bike), one minute a rest in intervals. If someone starts 10 minutes and works up to 20 minutes, this is what animals do. It is what we should also do. I also work out on a heavy punching bag; about the best exercise I can think of. I do the punching in spurts of a minute each, rest a minute.
Over the years, the vast majority of people I have known have tried the diet for time periods and then quit. There are very few long term people I know. I am one of them. If you are on the [Primal] diet, stay on it as a way of life. I take a nap every day because I detox every day. Physically I am in as good shape as I was in my 30s; maybe stronger pound for pound. I have very few wrinkles. I have a 35 year old body walking on the planet as a senior citizen. I"ll take that as a blessing.
Your kitchen and food bag are keys. If you have to go to work, take your food bag daily. If you work and live at home as I do, be thankful your kitchen and fridge are so close.
Some tips: eat raw bone marrow from [a specific organic farmer] [for contact info, click here to buy full report of producers and distributors of good food] once a day. I eat a lot of raw fish, salmon, tuna, swordfish, and combine it with raw ground buffalo or some raw ground Estancia grass fed beef. Make sure your beef and buffalo are grass fed. Be careful about your raw cheese and raw honey. It is an art to get these two truly raw [see Aajonus' report]. The same with any kind of oil. Check the numbers of times the bee harvester blasts his hives with smoke. Try for no smoke if possible. It is hard to find.
See Aajonus once a year. [Click here for info on setting up a consultation with Aajonus]. I learn every time. Keep a file of your eyes on the computer [referring to the iridology photos Aajonus will take during your consult]. Remember this: the game is to prevent poisons from coming into our body, and eliminate the poisons that are there every day. This is not a 2 or 3 year game. It is a lifetime of work. Once on the diet, don't change it for a Big Mac. It is not worth it.
