In an article on timesonline in the UK entitled Is Raw Food Good For You, the writer states: Cutting out meat, fish, eggs, dairy foods and cereal grains would result in the loss of many nutrients.
Who could argue with the fact that cutting out meat, fish, eggs and dairy foods would result in the loss of many nutrients!
The thought does not occur to her apparently that eating these foods raw IS part of a healthy raw food diet.
You just need good sources to know for sure what you are eating – for example are your eggs from cage free chickens? Does it matter if they are fertilized? Are the chickens fed waste products? Or soy? Is raw cheese salted? What is wrong with adding salt? Do I get enough natural salts in a balanced raw diet? Is the beef or buffalo or mutton grass fed exclusively? Are the fish from the deep sea or from contaminated waters?
There are lots of questions. Aajonus has asked these questions and many more. In addition to The Recipe for Living Without Disease which tells many practical and important facts and techniques for food preparation, he has created a report of producers and distributors in the USA whose food products are within his standards. This can be obtained on the www.wewant2live.com site; click here for more info.
There are other questions about organic vegetables exclusively which can be important because vegetables and particularly vegetable juice is part of a balanced raw diet. The word organic gets re-defined by vested interests to the point where the only way to be sure of the nutrient value of your vegetables is to grow them yourself using techniques you will find at www.organicfoodforless.info. Other gardeners and horticulturists have parts of the picture but this horticulturist in Australia has the whole picture and it is easier, costs less and is more rewarding than you may have thought.

Good food in your back yard
Emergency Preparedness, contributed by Dan T. of San Diego, California:
"One of the pieces of true independence. These are the folks we would be turning to if (God forbid) there ever was an economic failure (or a disruption large enough to shut down local food distribution).

P.S. from Jim - delicious organic vegetables do not require such an extreme approach. This horticulturist has it all worked out and is more than willing to show you all the details.

Sources of good raw food: organic vegetables for less
On the www.WeWant2Live.com site, there is a page about the global search for good food. View it here. Finding good food is not easy in many parts of the world. Based on this, I did a bit of research and found a surprising source of organic vegetables for less.
How do I afford organic vegetables? Click here at www.organicfoodforless.info for the answer. I am all for the raw food diet - I LOVE it -
however I have to find ways to cut my expenses. I don't want to cut out organic vegetables because first of all I can taste the difference BIG-TIME and secondly I have been warned about what pesticides, insecticides and herbicides do to my health when I ingest them with my food.
I have also been warned about the looming threat of genetically modified food because I live in the USA where agro-business has a giant foothold. A company starting with M and ending with o (3 syllables) is a whole other subject messing with our future; their reach is global, affecting food all over the planet except in rare places where this gets exposed and defeated at least temporarily (click here to see a good example).
Why am I ranting unless I can do something about it? Answer: I CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT and SO CAN YOU! Aajonus has encouraged us all to get a farm. I have found a giant step towards this at very low cost to get
started. I am getting started to learn how to grow an organic vegetable garden and I invite you to do so as well. We can blog about it once we get it going but for now listen to what Jonathan has to say, view his guaranty and give it a shot. The cost is SO minimal compared to what this can do for you.
